Our Story
Critical Mission Studio (CMS) was founded by Matt Smith and Glen Allmendinger - long-time friends, colleagues, and founders themselves, respectively of Fathym, Inc. a developer of open-source software tools and AI solutions, and Harbor Research, Inc., a growth strategy and technology research firm focused on Smart Adaptive Systems. Based on their mutual work and collaboration in the IoT and AI spaces, they realized there was a pressing need to support entrepreneurs and incumbent technology businesses tackling digital modernization in mission critical domains.
